Refugees and migrants in Germany encounter situations of conflict in two spheres: in their everyday lives here, and in their countries of origin through transnational networks. However, it is largely unknown how they proactively live through everyday conflict and peace-making processes. Focusing on their agency and the challenges they face, we ask: How do refugees and migrants navigate conflicts in their daily lives in Germany, and in their country of origin through peace processes (Afghanistan/Syria)?
